Oceanus is a small team of Sri Lankans and seasoned travellers who believe the best trips are built by people who know the island by heart. We turn a scattered wishlist into one calm, beautifully run journey, and we stay honest about every rupee along the way.

It started with home

Our Story

Born on the island, built for the traveller

Oceanus grew out of a simple frustration. Friends visiting from Europe kept arriving with the same rushed, cookie cutter itineraries, and kept leaving having missed the quiet, generous Sri Lanka we grew up in. So we started planning their trips ourselves, one honest conversation at a time.

What began as a favour turned into a calling. Today we are a team of guides, drivers, and planners who live here, travel here, and treat every guest the way we would want a friend to be treated. We know which train seat catches the best view, which family kitchen serves the finest rice and curry, and when to slow right down and simply watch the light change.

We do not sell trips. We share the island we love, and we make sure nothing gets in the way of you loving it too.
